We as Heldwein are celebrating this year’s International Women’s Day 2024 under the motto “Craftswomanship” with a special focus on our talented female goldsmiths and women who achieve impressive things on the sales floor as well as in administration and management.
To understand the importance of this topic, it is essential to take a look back in time. As craftsmanship used to be in the hands of men, women were often denied access. It was only when cultural restrictions and social norms changed that women were able to develop in this field. Today, there are many great female goldsmiths and jewelry designers who have become an integral part of the craft.
Women have always played a key role at Juwelier Heldwein. “Women are an important part of our corporate culture – they are represented in management positions and make a significant contribution to the company’s success,” says Anton Heldwein. Unique pieces are also created in our in-house atelier with concentrated female power. In addition to two female master goldsmiths, the fifth generation of the Heldwein family is already in the starting blocks. Anton Heldwein’s daughter is currently training to become a goldsmith.
